Connects to UDP multicast groups for receiving real-time streaming data. Useful for market data feeds and IoT telemetry.

Connection Settings

No global connection fields. Multicast groups are managed within the connector as individual records with ip, port, and id fields.

Authentication

No authentication. Multicast is network-level; restrict access via firewall or network configuration.

Supported Actions

• add_multicast_info — register a new multicast group (IP + port)
• delete — remove a multicast group
• start_stream / stop_stream — begin or end receiving data from a group
